The Company has prepared this Environmental Policy to reflect the nature of its activities.
The objective of the Directors is to balance the need to achieve its business objectives with the need to satisfy society’s rising environmental aspirations. They are committed to preventing pollution as well as to improve the quality of the environment in the localities that are affected by its operations. To achieve this, each activity is carried out to best available practice or according to recommendations made by such parties as suppliers, the local authority, the environment agency and other interested parties.
The Company will comply with all relevant regulations.
The Directors recognise that they must continually improve the company’s environmental performance and they will provide adequate financial and other resources to achieve this aim.
All members of the company have been made aware of this policy and are responsible for applying this policy in their day-to-day activities. The management of the company is particularly responsible for ensuring that this policy is implemented at all times and ensuring that the staff are aware, trained, involved and committed to its implementation and the commitment to continual improvement.
This Environmental Policy will be reviewed annually, (or as legislation or other changes dictate) by the Directors and the UK Managing Director will implement any changes.
This policy is available to the general public and other interested parties for review during normal office hours or a copy will be sent to them upon request.
This Environmental Policy Statement stands alongside the Quality and Health & Safety Policies and is supported by the same senior management commitment.
